LPC Associate Supervision & EMDR Consultation

Searching for an LPC Supervisor is one of the most important career decisions you will make. I provide board-approved Texas LPC-S supervision for LPC Associates who are accruing their direct and indirect clinical hours at external community agencies, inpatient or outpatient treatment centers, domestic violence shelters, crisis centers, or private practices. As your supervisor, I step into multiple roles across your internship: teacher, clinical guide, director, ethics navigator, collaborator, advocate, and eventually, peer and colleague. Rather than imposing a single rigid counseling style, we work together to discover which populations you serve best, identify the modalities you want to master, and help you develop your own authentic clinical voice and mark in the profession.

Before building my private practice in North Dallas, I served as Program Director for an inpatient substance abuse and mental health treatment center, counseled families at a domestic violence shelter, and worked as a crisis hotline advocate. I understand the real caseload pressures, dual-diagnosis complexities, and ethical dilemmas Associates face in agency and clinical settings.

I completed EMDRIA Basic Training in 2007, earned EMDRIA Certification in 2011, and am an EMDRIA Approved Consultant. I offer individual and group consultation toward EMDRIA Certification and advanced case consultation on complex trauma, attachment wounds, early childhood and sexual abuse, relationship violence, addiction recovery, codependency, anxiety, depression, and grief.

I am a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP). Alongside EMDR, CBT, DBT, ACT, IFS, IMAGO, and Motivational Interviewing, I am also a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC), Certified Clinical Hypnosis practitioner, Expressive Arts Therapy specialist, Acudetox specialist, RYT200, and Parenting the Love and Logic Way® facilitator.

Individual LPC Associate Supervision: $125 per 60-minute session. Group Supervision or Group Consultation: $65 per 60-minute session. Individual EMDR Consultation (In-Person or Telesession): $125 per session. Initial Supervisor Fit Call: Free phone interview — I recommend that LPC Associates interview several supervisors to find the right fit.

My supervision follows the Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council (BHEC) rules for LPC Associate supervision, so the hours we log together count toward your full LPC license. Texas requires at least four hours of supervision per month while you're seeing clients, and supervision with me is four hours per month. My rate is $125 per 60-minute session for individual supervision and $65 per 60-minute session for group supervision, and I'm happy to talk through scheduling on a free phone call.
